Big Bend National Park, Again.

Made my way back to Big Bend with my son this time. Still an amazing place. If you have not been, put it on your bucket list please. It is desolate in a beautiful way. All the open space and the view of the vistas and mountains and streams and I could go on and on.

Chiso's mountain gap.

Another shot.

It is a long boring ride to Big Bend.

We got in late last night, so we did Big Bend in the am today. We then are on our way to Brownsville, Texas to cruise the Texas coast for the next few days. Will update every day or two on our progress.

A friend and how we became friends.

This will be a long story I am afraid but I feel motivated to tell it tonight so bear with me. I am going to tell you all about a friend...

Scott,

Thank for the kind words and rekindling a fond memory for me. I remember well meeting you and your younger son for dinner a Chedder's I believe? Any how, it was a great opportunity for us to reconnect after 30 plus years for sure.

Matt is such a handsome Man, haven't seen him since you and he came to town to check out Old Dominion University and we went out to eat. Hope he is doing great, sorry tour symptoms are increasing I know you will battle this thing all the way. I'm sitting in the waiting room myself waiting for a CT scan to see if I need to continue Chemo. Let Matt know I've never forgotten him, actually remember when he was born, lots of love to you and him.
