Family

I don't have a lot of direct family left, but Cousins I am blessed with! Today I had lunch with Sally Bishop (Cruckson). Sally is the third of four daughters of Bill and Jane Cruckson. Bill was my mothers youngest Brother and the closet thing I had to a true father growing up. Sally is married to David, and like my ex-wife and I, blessed with one son, Logan. So last night I received a missed face time call (I was taking a walk and left my phone home) with Julie Barth (Cruckson) the second of four daughters. While I was trying to figure that out, another call came in from Jane Cruckson, the daughters mother and my Aunt. She told me Sally was trying to connect with me, she was in San Antonio with David on business. Well then I got a text from Sally and from there we worked out meeting today for lunch. It was great to catch up with Sally and chat about everything under the sun. So that was my day today. Who knows what tomorrow will bring?
