Well, I am happy to say that I feel the trip and fall I had a few days ago was due to a lack of focus on my part and not an advancement of ALS. I have taken care to pay attention when I go down the stairs and no issues so far. I think the reason for my fall was a lack of focus when i was descending the stairs the other day. I was thinking about what I had to do and not thinking about walking down the stairs. So since then, i have been careful to grab the rail and think about each step I am going to take. And wonders of wonders, no tripping or falling since then. So I feel comfortable stating that my trip and fall was due to a lack of focus and not an advancement of my ALS.

I learned to "breakdance" at about age 65. I didn't intend to learn it, it just came naturally.

Occasionally I'll invent a new move while ascending our backyard slope to pick fruit or using a step stool to get an item off the shelf.

You gotta' love getting old!
