Key medical advice learned in passing, late.

I learned from the guy who came by the house today to test my lung capacity that I should be using my Eco breathing device that I was told to use while sleeping, at least 30 minutes a day while awake to keep my lower lungs inflated. Apparently ALS patients tend to breath shallowly. I do. And that causes your lower lungs to not inflate and over time become susceptible to pneumonia which is not good. Think that was something I should have been told a long time ago like last year when I got the device? Yes! Another medical FUBAR situation I fear. One of these mistakes is going to kill me, I swear.
