My first round in Wisconsin starts on Monday. I have all the stuff I need to do it, a nurse is coming by and for some reason the New Jersey branch of Kabafusion (the makers of the drug Radicava that is being infused) that I get the drugs from in Wisconsin (Los Angeles for Texas) are willing to train me on how to place the access needle into the port so I can do the entire procedure by myself. I am that kind of person, I like to do stuff for myself and with Covid 19 out there why increase my contacts with people who work in the medical system. Plus, it is convenient to do it when I am ready and vs. when someone shows up. So this should be the last time a nurse has to come to my home for this process.
