Thomas Krumenacker. Broker and Friend.

Writer: Russ NewtonRuss Newton

So on Friday, Chris drove me down to San Diego to visit with Tom Krumenacker at the Ballast Point Brewery in downtown San Diego. I was able to eat a full plate of mussels and two beers so that was a success. Tom, Chris and I had a nice conversation. And Tom's daughter came down to pick Tom up and take him home at the end of the meal.

After they left, Chris and I went inside and I discovered the store so I bought three t shirts and a hoodie. Funny moment checking out. The young lady whispered to me the hoodies were too expensive and I didn't have to buy it. I told her via text I had ALS and money doesn't matter. Chris and I both think her reaction indicated she didn't know what ALS was but I still bought the hoodie.

A friend and how we became friends.

This will be a long story I am afraid but I feel motivated to tell it tonight so bear with me. I am going to tell you all about a friend...

Great minds think alike! My wife and a friend took me out on Thursday for a birthday dinner and I ordered up a Ballast Point Sculpin and toasted you. Glad to know that you can still drink beer!
